Space. If you haven't noticed, lots of my favorites have had the use of space. I believe that space represents the vastness of space and the complexity of it. Not only that, but I can personally relate to it. Yes, my friend, I can relate to a blank void in a photograph. The space in a photograph signifies nothingness -- that there's nothing else there, that you are completely alone. Space is a void, and what ever is in the photo with the void is also a void.

new lens, possibly?

So my parent's have been annoying me to make a Birthday Wishlist since they feel bad that I don't even want anything for my birthday. The thing is, they should be happy because I don't want anything and that'll save money and stuff blah blah blah. So because of them wanting me to want stuff (weird, right?)... I've decided to choose one between these two lenses for Canon:

EF 50mm f/2.5 Compact Macro
Price: $300
It's multipurpose, so I wouldn't only be using it for Macro. It can be used for anything -- portraits and the usual landscape. I'll never get bored of this. As compared with the 50mm, this costs more.

EF 50mm f/1.8 II
Price: > $100
It's small and lightweight, however, it's body is mostly made of plastic, which is quite scary... Not to mention the fact that it costs only less than $100. The disadvantage to this is that it's only a 50mm, so zooming and what not don't come with the package...

It may be funny to you if I'm weighing the pros and cons to this "small" lens purchase, since many of you probably have super awesome lenses and amazing dslrs. But it's something important to me.. because I don't want my parents spending a lot or for me to invest in something not worth investing...
