This is the photographer's grandmother, suffering from colon cancer and I think that the emotion and the look in her eyes speak for itself. It's not only the quality of the photo that counts here. It's the tough reality that we don't see every day."
Some people say Cancer will eventually effect somebody we know or somebody we love, if it hasn't already. On a personal note, I would like to add that this year I lost my own grandmother to Colon Cancer and this photograph nearly took the breath out of me. It might be hard to look at, but it's a powerful image which I think speaks volumes. Please also make sure to read the artists description regarding the image. (
